The Selling Company: M&M Environmental Oil Field Services, LLC
Why the company was sold: M&M was growing very rapidly and eventually outgrew its equity. Rather than take on additional debt, the principals decided to partner with a private equity company that could keep up with the financial needs of the company in order to realize its full potential.
Capital Alliance’s Performance: Even though the company was growing rapidly, much of the business was concentrated with one customer. Capital Alliance helped management diversify the customer mix and advised on business lines and growth opportunities.
Terms of the Transaction: The principals received cash and a significant share in the company going forward.
The Acquiring Company: Omega Capital is a private equity group with strong financial ties to the principals of several large E&P companies in Oklahoma.
