DALLAS, Dec. 22, 2015 – Paul Puri, managing director and chief development officer of Capital Alliance Corp., a global mid-market investment banking firm, was named to the Dallas Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Energy” for the fourth consecutive year.
The annual publication highlights key players in the energy sector. Five business journals from the nation’s leading energy markets — Dallas, Denver, Houston, Pittsburgh and San Antonio — jointly compile and publish the list. The Dallas Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Energy” report appeared in the Nov. 27 issue.
“Paul has a stellar record of achievements, including a number of game-changing transactions on behalf of oilfield manufacturing, technology and supply chain companies,” said Bryan Livingston, managing director and CEO of Capital Alliance. “His extensive knowledge of the industry, strong negotiating skills and deep connections have been invaluable to Capital Alliance and our clients.”
Puri joined Capital Alliance in 2001. He also serves as global head of the Energy Industry Group of M&A International Inc., a highly skilled team of energy investment bankers located in 41 countries, of which CAC is a member. The organization has completed some $75 billion in transactions over the last five years.
“I’m honored to be a part of the DBJ’s list, alongside many movers-and-shakers in the industry,” Puri said. “The M&A landscape for energy companies remains vibrant. It’s definitely an interesting time to be in this business.”
Puri has 12 years of experience advising clients in complex M&A transactions throughout energy strongholds in North America, including Texas, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, the Rockies, and Alberta, Canada. He has initiated and closed transactions on behalf of clients that specialize in oilfield pipe, valves, and fittings and hydraulic fracturing equipment and services.
