Dan Olsen, CPA
Dan Olsen provides merger & acquisition advisory services to the shareholders of middle market companies throughout North America.
He has been providing investment banking services to private equity and strategic clients for the past 15 years. He has advised on acquisitions and divestitures in business services, manufacturing, energy, engineering, technology and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Capital Alliance, Dan served as a director of transaction advisory services at Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, and McGladrey. He also played an important role in the execution of acquisitions and divestitures at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., previously a Fortune 500 company, which was purchased by Xerox, Inc.
Dan earned his bachelor of business administration degree in accounting, Magna Cum Laude, and a master of science degree in management from Texas A&M University.
- Led the separation and divestment of the North American division of Rexam PLC ($2 billion in annual revenue), international manufacturing corporation, related to its purchase by the Ball Corporation (acquisition price of $8.5 billion).
- Co-lead for the ACS acquisition of Mellon Bank’s human resources consulting and outsourcing businesses of its Human Resources & Investor Solutions (HR&IS) sector for an acquisition price of $445 million.
- Led and executed over 90 buy-side and sell-side projects ranging from $30 million to $350 million in acquisition price.
